We are thrilled to have launched our new transport planning service line – further expanding our multidisciplinary capabilities.

This new offering – backed by the appointments of Anna Meer, Kurt Hardy and Will Groves – has been established in direct response to growing demand for integrated, policy-led innovative transport solutions to support planning applications, help unlock development, and enable sustainable placemaking.

The team will support projects across their full lifecycle, from early-stage site access feasibility appraisals and local plan promotion, to planning applications, discharge of conditions and appeals.

Anna Meer joins as a transport director with two decades’ experience in transport planning, specialising in residential and strategic land developments.

Having worked as a transport expert witness and with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Anna will lead the transport planning team, driving the strategic direction and ensuring clients receive practical transport solutions.

Anna said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Marrons at such an exciting stage in its growth. The opportunity to work with such a talented and ambitious team in an integrated environment allows us to provide cohesive and innovative transport strategies from the outset. I’m looking forward to helping our clients navigate the complexities of transport planning with clear, actionable solutions.”

Kurt Hardy joins as a principal transport planner, with more than a decade’s experience working on a wide variety of transport planning projects, from residential, extra care, and renewable energy. His expertise spans technical highways design, sustainable transport solutions and having good working relationships with local highway authorities.

Kurt said: “The opportunity to join Marrons and work with such an experienced team is incredibly exciting. I look forward to applying my skills to help solve complex transport issues and provide clients with effective, long-term solutions that can both unlock difficult sites and contribute to the success of their developments.”

Transport planner Will Groves brings valuable technical skills, including experience in junction modelling, AutoCAD and quantum geographic information systems (QGIS). Will has been involved in a range of urban regeneration and residential development projects, contributing to transport assessments and travel plans.

Will said: “Joining Marrons offers a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse and high-profile projects. I’m looking forward to contributing my technical expertise to the team and delivering transport solutions that help our clients meet their development goals.”

The launch of the transport planning service line enhances our ability to offer clients a fully integrated in-house consultancy service, combining expertise in transport planning, planning and urban design.

This expansion is in direct response to the increasing demand for comprehensive, and early-stage transport solutions in the development sector.

Brian Mullin, partner and head of Marrons, said: “The launch of the transport planning service line marks an important milestone in Marrons’ growth. Having Anna, Kurt and Will join the team strengthens our offering, enabling us to deliver expert end-to-end transport solutions for our clients.
